Adidas plans to open the first U.S. production plant in metro Atlanta

The popular footwear gian, Adidas, has selected metro Atlanta to house its only stateside plant in the United States.  The Speedfactory will be a manfacturing Adidas shoe planting consisting of robots and about 160 human employes looking over them.

The Speedfactory will be a 74,000 square feet facility that will open in Cherokee County in 2017, and is expected to make over 50,000 pair of shoes a year.
