After spending some time in the Washington, D.C. area, Frank Ski, V-103’s previous morning radio host from 1998 through 2012, is returning back to the “People’s Station.”
Frank Ski made the announcement today on his Instagram and Facebook pages. Ski will be on air on Saturdays from 9am-2pm and on Sundays from 7pm-11pm.
Rick Caffey, Senior Vice President for CBS Atlanta Radio, said, “we’re excited about bringing Frank on. He’s an addition to an already deep lineup. Where most stations have prime time Monday through Friday, ours is really seven days a week and now we have another pillar of talent on Saturdays and Sundays.”
V-103’s current programming will not be changed.
Caffey is looking to make the weekend time slots a great place for Ski. “We are the best place for him, this is home. This is also the type of station that taps into Frank’s strengths. We were very happy with our existing lineup. We love what Ryan (Cameron) and Wanda (Smith) have done in the morning and Big Tigger in the afternoon, so we had no space in that area. But we tried to find a creative way to make it happen.”
Frank Ski returns on air April 23rd.
