City of Brookhaven firing its City manager

(Last Updated On: January 25, 2016)

The newly incorporated metro city of Brookhaven is firing its manger, and the Atlanta-Constitution is reporting that city officials are not releasing why.

Brookhaven Mayor, John Ernst, was just sworn into office on January 4th, and he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that his top priority was to terminate City Manger, Marie Garret.  A meeting will be held at 10 am Wednesday, and Garret’s termination will take place immediately afterwards.
