Atlanta Police looking for shooter in an Old 4th Ward murder

(Last Updated On: January 6, 2016)

The Atlanta Police Department spent Wednesday’s early morning hours looking for clues to a shooting in the Old 4th Ward that killed one man.

The man’s death happened near the newly redeveloped Ponce City Market and the popular new Beltline.  The APD say that witnesses heard the decease man arguing in his home with another man just before the shooting.

The victim has not been identified, but he is described as a 40 year old man.  The APD doesn’t believe that shooting was a random incident.
