It is being reported by the Atlanta Business Chronicle that the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, Daimler AG, is also looking at land around the Pooler, Georgia, area for a potential manufacturing plant to build their commercial Sprinter van.
Mercedes-Benz had recently announced that they were moving their American headquarters from Montvale, New Jersey, to the Atlanta metropolitan area. Mercedes-Benz’s move of their American headquarters to Atlanta will bring about 1,000 jobs. If Daimler decides to bring the manufacturing plant to Georgia as well, they will bring an additional jobs as well.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle is also reporting that another potential car company is considering relocating to the Pooler, Georgia, are.
