LaFace Records help start the careers of: Usher, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Pink, Toni Braxton, Tony Rich, TLC and many, many more.
The 1992 Eddie Murphy film, “Boomerang,” was Laface Records’ first soundtrack recording that included many of the artists on their roster, and “Reversal of the Dog” was a collaboration with some of those artists. The soundtrack sold over 3,000,000 copies in the United States alone and went triple platinum.
